Meet the authors

Christine M. Joie and Desirée R. Joie are a mother/daughter team of dreamers with full hearts for Christ. As writers, the duo authored the nonfiction narrative, Just Believe, with a message that encourages healthy, holy, and joyful relationships between mothers and daughters. On their mission to serve God, spread the Good News, and empower young people to strive for greatness, Christine and Desirée found that the first step is always to just believe.

Christine M. Joie Coleman

has written spiritually themed books for children and adults for over 20 years. The fifty-four year old mother of two generously devoted her time to teaching the Word of God in children’s spirituality classes for thirteen years. Her life's mission is to bring souls to Christ and know God more intimately. Involved in local and national writing communities, Christine hopes to reach writers searching for inspiration with an educational message of encouragement to pursue the story God has given them. Christine’s dedication to serve the Kingdom is coupled with a contagious passion, which she shares in her writing and speaking alike.

Desirée R. Joie Coleman

is a writer and editor with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. As a literary assistant to powerhouse agent, Frank Weimann, she reviewed and edited manuscripts and book proposals for submission with a deep concentration on content and grammar. She's published content for the teen market with American Cheerleader Magazine and non-profit organization, DoSomething.org. Desirée, 27, works with aspiring authors to develop an interactive online presence from web design to social media marketing and blogging. In 2016, Desirée joined with Terri Whitmire of Fun Creative Writing and Writer's Tablet to develop engaging writing workshops for students of all ages, and assist first-time authors become published. Her passions to hone the writing of others and develop her own craft derive from her belief that God can use her talents for the growth of His Kingdom.
