Meet the authors
Christine and Desirée are a mother daughter team with a heart to grow the kingdom of God. Together in ministry, the duo leads young girls to realize their full potential, witness the hand of God move mightily in their favor, and find their true identities in Christ. As authors of the book Just Believe: Every Summer Has a Story, their message of faith, friendship, and fun serves to equip mothers and daughters to build better relationships. Christine and Desirée develop resources that encourage God’s daughters to walk closely with Him. Most recently, they contributed to Her Story, His Glory: A Series of M.A.D. Conversations and created Destined for More, a free 14-Day Mother Daughter Challenge.
Christine prato-coleman
has written spiritually themed books for children and adults for over 20 years. The fifty-eight-year-old mother of two generously devoted her time to teaching the Word of God in children’s spirituality classes for thirteen years. Her life's mission is to bring souls to Christ and know God more intimately. Involved in local and national writing communities, Christine hopes to reach writers searching for inspiration with an educational message of encouragement to pursue the story God has given them. Christine’s dedication to serve the Kingdom is coupled with a contagious passion, which she shares in her writing and speaking alike.
Desirée micheels
is a writer, editor, and graphic designer with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. As a literary assistant to powerhouse agent, Frank Weimann, she reviewed and edited manuscripts and book proposals for submission with a deep concentration on content and grammar. She's published content for the teen market with American Cheerleader Magazine and non-profit organization, DoSomething.org. Desirée, 30, works with aspiring authors to develop an interactive online presence from web design to social media marketing and blogging. In 2016, Desirée joined with Terri Whitmire of Fun Creative Writing and Writer's Tablet to develop engaging writing workshops for students of all ages, and assist first-time authors become published. Her passions to hone the writing of others and develop her own craft derive from her belief that God can use her talents for the growth of His Kingdom.
